Adoption of tools to assess costs and benefits of Water Sensitive Urban Design in Adelaide

Elsinore Mann, Masters of Integrated Water Management, International WaterCentre, School of Chemical Engineering, University of Queensland, 2016

In response to Water SA’s planned investment, this research sought to understand whether the availability of an appropriate tool for WSUD cost-benefit analysis would be likely to support wider adoption of WSUD in Adelaide. To answer this question the research reviewed existing tools that have been developed for similar locations in Australia and overseas, and sought to understand factors that would influence adoption and use of a locally appropriate cost-benefit tool.
